About Davisburg Rotary Club
(Established 1967)

The Davisburg Rotary Club is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers in our community. We
are supported by businesses and individuals who reside in this area and give back 100% to help families
and community service projects.
Davisburg Rotary’s signature project is the annual Christmas Basket program. In this program, we
provide food to help 60 – 90 local families in need. Christmas baskets are delivered the Saturday
just before Christmas and includes a turkey, hamburger, eggs, bread, can goods and enough food to
feed these families for several weeks. Many friends and family’s of Davisburg Rotary as well as the
Springfield Fire Department and Boy Scout Troop 192 help to box and deliver this food for this
annual event.
Davisburg Rotary also participates in several other community service projects both locally and
internationally. We have built several handicap access ramps, constructed the awning to access
neighbor to neighbor, and administer hearing tests at the annual 4H Fair in Davisburg.
Internationally we fund Rotary International’s primary mission to eradicate polio as well as funded
deep wells in Bangladesh, eye glasses in Guatemala and shelter boxes to families faced with natural
disasters.
We fund our projects primarily thru donations and our local American Flag program where we place
flags at the residents of our friends and neighbors six times per year to honor Memorial Day, Flag
Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Patriots Day and Veterans Day. Other donations are provided by fund
raising events and by local organizations.
We need your help to keep our supporting efforts in place. Please consider a donation or join our
American Flag Program by calling us or visiting our website page at davisburgrotary.org.
Davisburg Rotary meets at 7:00 am on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Community
Room located at the Oakland County 4-H Fair Grounds offices located at 12451 Andersonville Road,
Davisburg, MI 48350. We would love to see you at one of our meetings. If you have any questions,
