Program:

President Pam introduced our District Governor Don Riddell.  District Governor Don Riddell spoke about his challenge to all of the clubs in our district.  He is essentially calling himself the Coach of our team.  He asked that all of our members with over 10 years with Rotary to stand – over 30 people stood up in that room!  He talked about team plays and playmakers and set 3 goals for us to achieve.  Each individual is asked to sponsor a new member, consider giving to the Permanent Fund , and as a club we have the goal of attaining a presidential citation.  He also invited us all to the District Conference in the spring.  Coach Don (as he’d like to be called) spoke about the perfect play – which scores every time it is run.  This was in relation to the Permanent fund contribution which never diminishes in principle.

Takeaways from the meeting focus around the goals for each member and club, with the reminder to brag a little bit about what our club does in the community.  Let others know, so that we can remain lively and inspire new membership and club growth.  Coach Don finished by thanking us for the opportunity to be our District Governor.
