Announcements:

Calling all new and valued members! The next Red Linenkugel New Member orientation will be held tomorrow May 18th at Leaf, Barley & Vine from 5:30-7:30pm.  Register to attend with Julie Blankenship.

Secretary Jane McManus announced that the Grant Certification program for our Club was held  last Thursday, 5/12 and thanked Mike McManus and Nancy Johnson for attending with her.  The Future Visioning Brainstorming session will be held on June 14th at 5:30 at the Center, see Jane to add your name to the list.

Cathy Riesterer  announced that the Scholarship Committee met at the Brighton High School Counseling Office on Monday, May 16th and interviewed  6 candidates, selecting 3.

Adrienne Knack ran in the 10K “Race for Your Memories” marathon last Saturday, May 15, at Kensington Metropark to support the Alzheimer’s Association.  She both beat her goal of 60 minutes posting a 57’38” time and also met her goal of raising $750.

The Livingston Sunrise Rotary is organizing for the Fourth of July Duck Race and seeks sponsors and/or prizes.  If you can help, please contact Chuck Thompson of the Sunrise Rotary Club.

Don Homan announced that his speaker next week will be Col. Kristi Etue, Director of the MSP.

Sharon Kartes announced an upcoming trip to  Tuscany, November 2 – 11, includes 13 dinners, motorcoach, stops in Rome, all inclusive for $2,989 per person.  See Sharon for details.
