announced that the "Raider Gear" has arrived and is ready for pickup at our weekly meetings. He did order a few extra t-shirts, sweatshirts and hat(s), so if you didn't order with the first batch, see Piet with your money.
The Sixth Annual Business to Business Exposition will be held on June 4th from

alerted the Scholarship Committee that interviews for the 8 candidates will be rescheduled to either May 17, 18, 24 or 25 at Brighton High School, time TBD. Any additional members that would like to participate please contact Cathy.
Two more host families are sought for next year's Rotary Youth Exchange students. Note that to host a student, your family does not need to take the student on an exotic vacation and that the Club has budgeted a monthly allowance, approx $100, for the student. See Dora Lezovich if you know of a family that might appreciate the cultural exchange.

Program CLUB ASSEMBLY:
Literacy Committee: Nancy Johnson alerted members that Cindy Snyder has been posting on her blog the many ways that our Club's literacy donations are being used in her area. The Salvation Army is sponsoring a Summer Lunch Bunch program for those students that need meal assistance when school is not in session. Rotary will be supplying books for the students to enjoy while they share lunch with each other. Also, the Livingston County Literacy Coalition continues to seek volunteers willing to read and promote literacy. See
Raiders: Piet Lindhout shared slides from last Saturday's ramp build and mentioned how cooperative the weather was to the group's efforts by stopping the rain as the Raiders arrived! Piet created a highlight poster for those participating Raider warriors!
Lip Stync: The feature video from last year's Lip Stync extravaganza was shared with the Club. Excitement is building as we anticipate the fun of this year's event to be enjoyed by performers and audience members alike.
50/50 Drawing: $75 won by Piet Lindhout who donated the money to the Raiders Tool Fund. Thanks Piet!!!!
