Program:

New Members Cory Leppek and Vernon Boyajian shared information about themselves and their businesses.  We are glad they have joined our Rotary membership!

Cory Leppek is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a teaching degree.  After college, he joined the family business started by his father forty years ago.  Cory coached youth basketball for many years in the area before he and his wife started their family.  Landscaping helps to make each day different: whether it involves maintenance, design, holiday lighting, or residential landscape installation, especially water gardens.  Piet Lindhout mentioned that Cory’s father, Frank Leppek, provided the pine and crab trees for the Community Building.

Vern Boyajian has lived in Brighton 14 years along with his wife and three daughters.  He grew up in Long Island, NY, earned a degree in hotel management, and transferred to Chicago to help open new hotels in the downtown area.  Through his work, he was exposed to telecommunications systems and the technical demands to support computers and electronics.  He opened his own company specializing in voice and date for small businesses.  In 2009, his firm merged with Communication Technologies out of Burton, Michigan.
