President Ken introduced our Guest Speaker for the morning, Randy Hylek, from the Meredith Rotary Club.
Announcements:
Penny Sale - Sara encouraged us all to be out there contacting our donors. Street sales should begin about 1 October and Joni is heading that up. Ken and Bill are working on some kind of "Thank You" event as the PSU has made some changes. Our Foundation Tax ID # is 59-3841932. The "2" had been left off in previous publications, and those are being updated and re-sent.
Friends of the Pemi are meeting at Annie's Overflow for breakfast on Friday and then heading up to the Campton side of Livermore Falls for a tour.
Hurricane Relief/Recovery - Ken encouraged us all to donate to the charity of our choice for immediate relief efforts. Our District is looking at a long-term recovery project. More on that later.
Wheel Chair Project - Cheryl reported that the distribution dates may be March 1-3, with fly dates to the Dominican Republic on Feb 27th or 28th.
Rotary Leadership Institute (Saturday, Sept 30th) - We have four Rotarians signed up at present!
