Rotary Passport Club members are local people who want to make a difference in their community in a way that fits within their time, talent and finances, as well as with their family, work and life commitments.

To do this, the Rotary Passport Club only holds fewer meetings - we hold "in-person" meetings twice each month which members are encouraged, but not required, to attend.  Instead of weekly meetings, members are encouraged to engage in humanitarian service - however that works best for them.  The members of the Passport club determine how the club operates.

The founding principle of the Rotary Passport Club is to make Rotary fit your life.

Rotary Passport Club members are full Rotary members, with the same privileges and rights as Rotarians in traditional clubs.

Membership in our club provides you with a "passport" to visit and work with any other Rotary Club in the world and to take part in activities, programs and projects that interest and engage you.

How can you participate and make a difference as a member of the Rotary Passport Club? You might:

  • Attend meetings of other Rotary Clubs that are convenient for you.
  • Support service projects and fundraising activities of local Rotary Clubs.
  • Donate and support The Rotary Foundation.
  • Serve the community by volunteering with other community, civic or international organizations, programs or projects.

Membership in the Rotary Passport Club is a privilege and an honor. The Rotary Passport Club holds its members to the highest ethical standards.

To become a member, a prospective member must be sponsored by a current member of the Rotary Passport Club or a current Rotarian in good standing, and submit an application for membership.

Who should be a member of the Passport Rotary Club?

  • Former Rotary members who want to rejoin.
  • Current or past members of the Rotary family, including Rotaractors and alumni of Rotary programs such as Scholarship or Group Study Exchange programs and youth programs.
  • Young people who are early in their career.
  • Young families.
  • Retirees who now have time and talent to give back.
  • Anyone interested in doing good in this world.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Rotary Passport Club or have questions, contact us. If you decide to join, complete the application form which will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and then presented to the current club membership for acceptance.

The cost of membership is $160 USD per year with a discount for members of Rotaract (our youth partner clubs) of only $80 per year.

The affordable dues structure and flexible nature of the Rotary Passport Club could be the right fit for you.
