Community Table Christmas Store
Hello All !

I am forwarding to all of you the information on the Community Table Christmas Store. Unfortunately, due to COVID, things are going to be a little different this year but Mary and I have tried to make the appropriate changes and still meet the needs of our Community. Here's a brief list of things we are changing:

~All volunteers and guests will be required to wear a mask and gloves(provided). Temps will be checked upon entering the room.
~We will not be wrapping gifts. 😥 We will offer each family wrapping paper, tape, gift bags and bows to take home to wrap their gifts. This will cut down the amount of time in the room and decrease the number of volunteers needed which will also help decrease the number of people in the room at one time.
~We will not be offering cookies/refreshments.
~ No gently used items. Again, limiting the amount of time each family is there.

While we are not happy about these changes and the extra little touches we have added in the past, we just gotta do it!

Let's review the attached information:

Registrations: I sent this out several weeks ago, if you have not been promoting it yet, please do so. Deadline is Nov 20, 2020 !

Wish List:  Please present this list to your congregation/organization. All items must be new. We will not be offering gently used clothing, household items, or toys this year. Please bring all items to Salem Church of God on Sat Dec 5th, 9-12 noon. If for some reason you are unable to do that, please let me know and we will make arrangements to pick them up.

Gift Cards: If you are collecting gift cards. Please let me know when you have them and I will pick them up so we can get copies made and get them ready for the teen tree.

Monetary Donations: Checks can be made out to Community Table, Inc. You can bring them along with you on the Dec 5th drop off. (Curt will be very happy !)

Volunteer Sheets: First and foremost, we want all volunteers to feel comfortable being in this environment! We love our volunteers !!! But unfortunately, we won't need as many volunteers each shift this year. We will only need 1-2 from your church/organization per shift. If your spaces fill up fast, please keep a "call me if you need me list" just in case we find we need more as we go along or to fill in last minute cancelations.

I think that's all for now! Please pray for the Christmas Store. Pray that we can meet the needs in our community and love on these families during this season!

Feel free to contact Mary or Me if you have any questions. My Cell # is 937-715-1812, home 832-8024.

Thanks everyone !
