RAFFLE QUESTION -
Secretary Will introduced Fort Jefferson, built in 1846, but now a massive unfinished coastal fortress. Heavy guns were mounted inside the walls, in a string of gunrooms and was designed to be a massive gun platform and impervious to assault. Question "Where is this fort located in Key West" . Answer -Dry Tortugas.

UP COMING EVENTS and ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- June 25th: Ernst: Mascoma River Clean-up. Posters are now printed and will be set up at the Lebanon Farmer's market. Everyone must participate or pay a $20 fine (which this author paid, since she is unavailable this date) or check made payable to "MRC:. Noted that Betsy Childs and Bartolo are looking for volunteers. Headquarters is behind the CCBA.
- June 30th: President Don’s Changeover menu includes turkey and pot roast and a cash bar. $30 per person. Sign-up sheet will begin circulation next week.
- July 4th: Pie sale tickets were distributed. Each member has five pies to sell and sign-up sheet for helping with the event. Lebanon Rotary will have a booth at the Farmer's Market June 16th, 23rd and 30th. If you would like to join and sell some of your pie tickets there.
- July 10th: Upper Valley Nighthawks baseball game starts at 5 PM. We need one more club to sign on in order to get a banner on the field. Adults $5; kids free.

Linda Capp - It was the 31st showcase of students and her daughter caught a 3 lb trout.
Bruce Pacht: 40 years ago Bruce, John Yacavone and Steve attended Fenway (?) and the tickets were only $40!
PROGRAM: Steve Christy introduced our own Bruce Pacht and Lisa Adams. Lisa is a team member of the "Infectious Disease and International Health" at Dartmouth Hitchcock. Bruce and Lisa gave a presentation to their time in Dar Es Salaam (meaning the The Residence of Peace" on March 12-24th of 2016.. This city is the largest city in Tanzania.
Their mission was to evaluate the health care delivery system in Eastern Africa. This is a joint effort with the Hanover Rotary Club and is met with matching grants.
The goal is to have Health Equity and "providing individuals with high quality care for conditions for have optimal health".
President-Elect Kevin Gould closed the meeting with a responsive reading of Rotary’s Four-Way Test.
