The editor of this edition of Currents could not attend the March 21 meeting because he was trapped in several airports on the way to Albuquerque that day. (Was "The Road to Albuquerque" a Jack Benny movie?) No doubt conversation before the meal focused on such esoteric topics as the price of soybeans; snow; whether or not President Steve was wearing his president's sash; and what trip to America's national parks Willie was going to take on us on today.
Next week, the topic will be very focused: speaker Steve Silver of Strategies for College will give us the inside scoop of college admissions and financing. Certainly in the news!

Program:
Speaker was Brian Cook of Revels North.
Brian began his presentation telling us that his daughter, Julia, a sophomore at Hanover High School, is currently spending the year abroad in France through the Rotary Youth Exchange.
Brian was introduced to Revels North in 1981 as a member of the Christmas Revels children’s chorus; and both his children, Julia and son Theo, have been in the Christmas Revels shows. Christmas Revels has been held at Hopkins Center in the past, but the Revels were told that they would not be able to be there in the future due to renovations for 5-7 years. In looking for a new home for Christmas Revels, the group has found the Lebanon Opera House and is excited about the show coming up this December 21 & 22.
