Dear President Stephen, Bill and DG Lawrence and PP Suellen,

We are thankful for Lebanon Rotary Club's  $ 2, 400 gift to transform lives in Ghana in West Africa.  Rotary District 7850 matched you with $2,400 district designated funds.  You made a big difference.   We've attached some of the photographs from the project and the final report.  This project included clean water, sanitation, university computer lab and vocational training for a local prison.  Sunyani Central Rotary Club implemented the project with a budget of $212,300.

This project remembered Larry Sandoe at Sunyani Polytechnic University's computer lab.  Rotary Global Grant 27389 provided communities with 31 new wells, 10 repaired wells and 179 household Microflush toilets.  We also trained four Expert Microflush toilet makers who increased capacity for improved sanitation in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.  We also provide vocational training for the Men and Women in the Sunyani Central Prison.  We impacted 24,875 lives on this project.  Our goal was to build just two small-town water systems.  Instead, we built eleven small-town water systems.

Thank you for giving the gift of clean water to communities in Ghana.  We are moving ahead with many projects in the New Year to provide clean water and a new elementary school.  We need help with GG 18-72002 to provide clean water and GG 19-78274 to build a new elementary school in Ghana.  We appreciate your support and partnership.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sincerely Yours in Rotary Service,

Walter Hughes
