June 15th Barry Glennon from the NH Attorney General’s Office.
Barry Glennon joined the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation in 2001. He was later appointed Deputy Director of Licensing & Administration, and then Director in 2012. Barry was previously employed by the former Chubb Life/Jefferson Pilot Financial Insurance Company in Concord, N.H. and is a lifelong Manchester resident.

Friday, May 26, 2023, a picture perfect day for golf at Eastman Golf Links in Grantham, NH. A fun day for raising money for projects in the Upper Valley!
With the ringing of our bell, President Ed Friedman called the meeting to order. Members were able to join WebEx at 11:45 as we have paid for subscription that permits > 40 minute meeting on line!
Deab Cashman led us in the 4-Way Test
Ernst Oidtman played our welcome song and then led us in a modification of I've Been Working on the Railroad called I've Been Working on the Golf Couse in honor of the upcoming Bedell Golf Classic.
Ed Freidman shared two Dad/Bad Jokes.
Why did the roofer go to the doctor? For shingles.
Wny do nurses like red crayons? Sometimes they have to draw blood.
Today is Bruce Bergeron's birthday! Dean Cashman's was on May 5th. Ron Michaud had a birthday on May 12th. Hank and Carol Clarke had an anniversary. Cal Wolfe and his wife had an anniversary too.
Then it was on the buffet.
After lunch we focused on final plans for golf:
We were reminded that tomorrow morning golfers will tee off at 10 AM. Volunteers need to be at the course between 7:30 and 8 AM for set up the raffle. silent auction, and to help with registration inside. Outside helpers are need to put up tee and green sponsor signs, and to put information on golf carts.
When the meeting ended a few members stayed to put the info packets together for the golf carts.
The numbers:
We have 21 teams signed up to play.
15 teams are gold sponsors.
We have 22 tee and green sponsors.
We have 14 additional gold sponsors to cover lunches, the drink carks and apres snacks.
We have one platinum sponsor.
We should have over 50 raffle prizes.
Shotgun start at 10 AM.

Youth Services: Joy reported that our scholarship recipients (LHS, MRSH and Ledyard Charter School have been selected but cannot be announced until the end of the last senior night on June 9th.
Charities — By the time you get this, the Nominations for open Trustee Seat on the Charities Board are now closed.
Mascoma River Clean-up will be July 22, 2023. Stay tuned for details. Ernst would love to have someone volunteer to co-chair this event. Consider offering to help learn more about this event. Ernst will be president the next time we have the clean-up and he will need someone to volunteer to lead this event.
Rotary Foundation: Another reminder from last week...Ron Bedell reminded members that if you haven't already give a donation to the Rotary Foundation, to be counted as a donation for President Ed's year, it needs to be given by 30 June.
First Grade Book: We will distribute our 1st Grade Book the first week of June. It a magical experience, hope the date works so you can come.
Brew Fest: Next meeting will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at 1 PM at Service Credit Union.

John Yacavone reported that Garlan Hoskin in on the QEII nearing NYC. Garlan plans to be at our 100th Anniversary dinner.
Ahmad Haidari let us know that his wife, Chris has been helping at the Senior Center on Mondays. He said more helpers are needed.
Ernst Oidtmann will be traveling for the next few weeks. He is going to Munich to see his family. He will be back for the 100th Anniversary Dinner.
Tim Guaraldi reached out to JoAnn Lemieux's husband, Phil George, and he will be joining us to the 100th Anniversary Dinner.
Bruce Pacht let us know that he has been enjoying having his grandson stay with him, as his son Orin is transition from an apartment to a home of his own. Bruce gets to drive his grandson to school in Fairlee. He describes Roan and clever, fun and very bright.
Marilyn Bedell thanked the hard working golf team for all they have done to make the Bedell Golf Classic a success again this year.
