Holiday Party

Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

Ron announced at our meeting on 12/22/2022, that we gave Quechee Inn 28 as the number of folks attending the dinner pre-storm; then Ron changed the number to 25 when the dinner was moved to Sunday; and then an additional three people did not come on Sunday due to a variety of reasons. To Ron's surprise, the Inn's owner only charged us for 22 meals.  Ron will be giving a few people that did not come, their checks back.  This is a good news outcome!  Here's to the Owner of the Quechee Inn who was so accommodating.  Consider supporting the Inn by dining there during the upcoming year!

Thank you Note

To our Lebanon Rotary Club volunteers --

Thank you so very much for volunteering to help the Public Health Council of the Upper Valley with our 2022 Community Flu Vaccine clinics. I am pleased to report we had another successful year of bringing flu vaccine to our more rural communities. The people who came to us for vaccine were grateful to have this service in their own community. Not to mention how much the students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth appreciate the opportunity to provide a valuable service and practice doctoring.

This year we provided 1,142 vaccines (478 regular dose, 664 high dose). We hosted 5 clinics and had over 30 volunteers, in addition to all the medical student volunteers. As always, we could not have done this without you.

I hope you are looking forward to a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year.

Sincerely,
Alice R. Ely, MPH
