Paula shared her own story of living with a disability and how this led her to working with Visions.
Paula Davis
Paula was drawn to work at visions after coming to Lebanon as she truly believes in Visions mission and vision. She shared that she was born with only one hand, but had parents who believed she could do anything with one hand that could be done with two. They raised her to know that she could be a fully participating member of any community in the world. She has ties to Honduras and Puerto Rico. She was born in Boston.
She reemphasized that we all need support and will require differing degrees of accommodations throughout our life times…even if we are “healthy”. She loves working with Sylvia, because Sylvia makes people believe that any thing in possible.
Paula then told us about upcoming events…we are all welcome to attend.

Join us for the inaugural Visions Future Fund reception — an evening of legacy, belonging, and possibility at the historic Enfield Shaker Museum.
There is a place in the Upper Valley where everyone belongs — where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full, connected, joyful lives in supported housing they're proud to call their own. We'd love to celebrate the future of that work with you.

Join us Saturday, November 14 at the Enfield Shaker Museum Chosen Vale Performance Center for a joyful evening celebrating the community we've built together all year — through Disability Justice Day, the “Everyone is a Star” community engagement campaign, and the relationships that make Visions belong to all of us.
Red carpet arrival begins at 6:00 PM.
