The Rotary club annually bestows this honor on several individuals (members and community residents) for their service to the club, community, nation or the world.
In 2023, the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh recognized Jody Carpenter, Ken Knelly and Ryan Lee as Paul Harris Fellows during the the annual dinner. Past recipients of this honor are listed on the following PAGE. This year's dinner to honor recipients will be held in June.

Paul Harris (April 19, 1868–January 27, 1947) was a Chicago, Illinois, attorney best known for founding Rotary International in 1905, a service organization that currently has well over one million members worldwide. Many Rotary clubs honor individuals as Paul Harris Fellows who meet high professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris and others who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation.
