Roland Poulin of New Hampton, NH, took first place in the lake trout category with this 14 lb. 0.5 oz. catch.PLATTSBURGH, NY __ A New Hampshire angler and two Vermont men took top prizes in the 35th Annual Rotary Fishing Classic on Lake Champlain this past weekend (June 4 – 6), which is sponsored annually by the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh.

Roland Poulin of New Hampton, NH, took first place in the lake trout category with a 14 lb. 0.5 oz. catch. Chad Lambert of Burlington, VT, won the top spot in the salmon category while first place in the walleye category went to Jeffrey Coon of Swanton, VT.  The team competition was won by Wasted Wages.
 
In the youth division, Aubrey Richards of Lake George NY, took first and second place in the lake trout category while Cole Lemieux of Fairfield, VT, won the top prize in the salmon category. There were no fish weighed by youth in the walleye category.
 
There were 431 participants in the tournament including 11 youth under the age of 15 from 11 states. After the payout to winners, the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh netted approximately $10,000 that the club will donate to worthwhile causes.
