The Rotary Club of Plattsburgh honored three new Paul Harris Fellows on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Jody Carpenter, Ken Knelly and Ryan Lee were feted during the annual dinner, which was held at West Side Ballroom in Plattsburgh.

Jody Carpenter joined the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh in April 2007. Currently the Vice President for Human Resources at UFirst Federal Credit Union, Jody serves on numerous committees and is the treasurer for the annual International Rotary Fishing Classic. She is involved in several other community organizations and events.
 
Ken Knelly will step down at Club President on June 30 after a year guiding the 120+ active and honorary club members. Ken joined the Rotary club in September 2018. He is the Chief of Staff to the President at SUNY Plattsburgh and is active in many club and community events and committees.
 
On July 1, Ryan Lee will become Club President for the 2023 - 2024 year. An active member of the Rotary club since joining in December 2012, Ryan serves on numerous committees and is co-chair of the club's Community Service Projects Committee.
 
Paul Harris (April 19, 1868–January 27, 1947) was a Chicago, Illinois, attorney best known for founding Rotary International in 1905, a service organization that currently has well over one million members worldwide. Many Rotary clubs honor individuals as Paul Harris Fellows who meet high professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris and others who have contributed more than $1000 to the Annual Program Fund, the Polio Plus Fund or the Humanitarian Grants Program of the Rotary Foundation.
