ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY COMMITTEE The committee organizes and arranges the annual Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of the section of Interstate 87 between Exits 37 and 38 during late April or early May.

ALTERNATIVE BREAK COMMITTEE  This committee organizes a ‘helping hand’ day in the community during the college’s March break. 

AT-RISK CHILDREN PROGRAM COMMITTEE Club members work to assist at-risk children in the community (abuse, neglect, bullying).

BED RACE COMMITTEE The committee organizes this mid-winter fundraiser in February – World Peace & Understanding Month (anniversary of the founding of Rotary) – bringing the community and the Plattsburgh State Campus together for a morning of fun and festivities. 

CENTENNIAL PROJECT COMMITTEE – ad hoc Committee members develop plans and arrange for installation of a gazebo constructed at Old Base Marina in honor of RI's 100th anniversary (2005). 

FISHING TOURNAMENT This active committee organizes the annual Rotary Fishing Classic on Lake Champlain, which provides funding for many community initiatives and grants to non-profit organizations through the Gifts Committee. 

FOOD SHELF COMMITTEE Members collect donations each week from club members. On the last Wednesday of each month, two committee members organize a special Food Help Day collection. The donations are then distributed between the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen and the Interfaith Food Shelf. 

SMALL GIFTS COMMITTEE The committee review requests for funding as submitted by external sources and present its recommendations to the Board of Directors for gifts not to exceed $500. 

HOLIDAY GIFTS The committee arranges for club members to donate toys through the Christmas Bureau. 

ROTARY RADIO DAY COMMITTEE This committee organizes this annual fundraising event, which is aired on WIRY in the spring which raises funds given to other service organizations as grants through the Gifts Committee. 

RODUCKY DERBY COMMITTEE Committee members organize this annual fall fundraising event which raises funds given to other organizations as grants through the Gifts Committee. It also promotes member participation in the sale of the rubber ducks to individuals and businesses. 

SENIOR CITIZENS COMMITTEE This committee initiates various activities through the club to assist senior citizens in the community. 

VOCATIONAL SERVICE COMMITTEE The Plattsburgh Rotary Club provides the financial/project support for the vocational education of local students - both high school and post-secondary.  Each year, the Rotary Club determines the appropriate avenue to assist in the future vocational endeavors of these students. 

YOUTH MENTORING ACTIVITIES This committee coordinates interaction between Rotarians and area students to discuss career goals. Members also coordinate the selection of high school graduates and/or college students to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Seminar and other Districtwide events.
