On Thursday 27th our speaker will be a past member of the Farmington Rotary Club, Ginger Barrons.
Ginger Barrons, Polio Eradication Advocate is a member of the Waterford Rotary Club and has been a Rotarian since January 1989.  As one of the first three Women to be inducted to her local Club where her family members were charter Rotarians she has served in every club leadership position including President 2007-08.   Ginger is a Rotary Leadership Institute Graduate and has served on District Staff as an Assistant Governor, Foundation Team Member and Polio Co Chair.   An avid supporter of the Rotary Foundation, Ginger is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society Member and a Major Donor. 
As a Rotarian, Ginger has a passion for many Rotary projects with polio eradication topping the list.  She has been involved in the campaign since its inception.  Having a family member who had polio, she is very dedicated supporter of ending polio forever.   In her teen years, she was a volunteer working with polio survivors.  Her knowledge of the Rotary Polio Plus campaign to End Polio Now is extensive and she speaks to groups all over the world now thanks to the new interest in zoom meetings.

Ginger and her husband Lee have been married for 42 years and are blessed with 2 Sons, 2 Daughter in laws and 5 Grandchildren.   On the professional side, for the past 30 years Ginger has been the Broker/Owner of Reliable Real Estate.  Ginger has served as a Director for the local real estate board and a panelist on the State Ethics committee.   As a former teacher, Ginger utilized those skills teaching Broker prep and Real Estate Law.  In her spare time, she enjoys rehabbing homes to their former glory and making them available to families who may otherwise be unable to afford them.
