Farmington Rotary was chartered in 1969 by Rotary International and is a service organization for the cities of Farmington Hills and Farmington, Michigan. Farmington Rotary supports many local and international programs, such as Eagle School, Ellis Scholarships, Youth Exchange Programs, Student Government Day, Vocational Service Awards, Land Mine Awareness, Founders Festival, Goodfellows, Boy Scouts, an emergency dental clinic in rural Philippines, Polio Plus in India and Nigeria with Rotary International; and a school for the under privileged in Zihuatanejeo, Mexico, as well as many other community and international programs.

Rotary is about Service Above Self. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

  1. Opportunity for Service
  2. High ethical standards
  3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life
  4. The advancement of international understanding. We welcome members from all vocations
