This awesome event will occur August 15th and include 30 locations. This opportunity ties musicians with business owners. Each location has a band and a soloist. Twenty spots will be located on Beechtree and 10 along Washington. There is a trolley available to bring people to both locations; the trolley will also have musicians on board. Many businesses will offer prizes, food, and other activities. Participants vote via text for the best bands and can purchase a $10 raffle ticket to win a variety of prizes.
Proceeds go to cover the event and support local musical programs, including individual students who are unable to afford a musical instrument. The overall purpose of the event is connect people through music, to create a greater sense of community.
Brook Bisonet announced that Rotary will participate in the 30 year birthday celebration for the Grand Haven Farmers Market on July 11
Bill Bassow Club party honoring the outgoing President & welcoming the incoming President on July 15 will be held at the Grand Haven Sailing Club (Clubhouse 219 N Harbor) from 5:00-8:00 PM. Brats/Burgers, chips/snacks, ice cream, beer & wine will be provided by the club.

Brook Bisonet announced that Rotary would be participating in the Walk the Beat event on August 15 in Grand Haven. Over 30 venues with live music will offer opportunities to enjoy local talent and win great prizes from noon - 5 p.m. Brook announced the bands that will play from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Gernot Runschke announced that Kari Schellie won $500 in the District Raffle
Stacey Trowbridge asked for Adopt a Highway volunteers. We will meet at the GH Burger King this Saturday at 8:30.
Gernot and Brook were present to "Change the Guard." Morning attendees enthusiastically congratulated both Presidents for their fine leadership talents.
