This week, we honored the outgoing board on all of the accomplishments from the past year as well as inducted the new board of directors.
We honored perfect attendance for: John king (1 year), Kirsten Runschke and Ellen Peters (3 years), Troy Hauser Brydon, Mary Ann Herbst, and Jeremy Swiftney (5 years), Denny Dryer (9 years), Dale Swihart (11 years), Gernot Runschke (15 years), Kathy Disbrow (29 years), Sid Disbrow (49 years), and Bill Redeker (51 years).
We followed that with a beautiful bouquet for all Mary Ann Herbst has done over the past year for ensuring the club runs as smoothly as it does!
We honored both Bill Van Lopik and Kevin Galbavi as the Rotarians of the year for 2025-2026.
Finally, we honored Ken Formsma as the Service Above Self Citizen of the Year Award for all of the lasting positive changes and impacts he has had in the Tri-Cities area.

The Past President's Meeting will be taking place on Tuesday, July 7th! Follow for more details!
We are currently working on plans in partnership with The Eagles on a Taste of Grand Haven event for either June or September of 2027. Working with The Eagles will allow us to create a possible new signature event. More information to follow when more details are known.
Our next flag placement is happening July 4th! We will be meeting at 7am, and flag removal will take place on July 5th at 7pm! As usual, we will plan on meeting at Burger King. We still need volunteers to help with both set-up and take-down. Please respond to John's email if you are able to assist!
NEW TO ROTARY - 5th Monday Meetings! These are meetings set to replace the traditional Monday noon meeting with a social after-hours event, replacing the regularly scheduled meeting. The next two 5th Mondays will be in August and November (where there are 5 Mondays for the month). More information to come!
Change for Change jar is on the back table. Drop your change to assist our Interact Club in granting additional Micro-Loans with the Interact Club of Grand Haven High School.
We have a Rotary Spotlight every month on WAWL.
The Jeep Raffle is live and in it's last week! The Grand Haven aquatics center is the beneficiary and the drawing will be this summer. We are currently just over 456 tickets sold. Let's sell 1,000 tickets, this last week is HUGE for the push!!!!
We're looking for volunteers to sell tickets on July 3 at the Free Friday Concerts.
There will be no meeting July 13th! Plan accordingly.
