Pat McGinnis announced a community-wide food drive to distribute food to deserving GHAPS students over the upcoming Spring Break. Contact Pat for more info. 

 

Gernot Runschke updated us about the District Conference.  It is May 17-19 in Holland.  He is looking for 3 - $400 sponsors for Rotaract Students.  Please contact him.  Also looking for 2 people to attend the Grants Management Program.

 

Rotary 50/50 Raffle - Tom Manderscheid thanked everyone i the room. We sold 116 tickets for the Foundation!

 

Gail Ringleberg reported on the Honduras Trip: Six Rotarians and eight students just got back from Honduras. 12 new filters, 4 latrines, 6 rows of adobe housing, made cement for three rooms in a house and did 21 filter checks. 19 were in consistent use serving 117 people.

 

Accessibility Expo - March 22 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the GH Community Center.  Free event for people of all abilities to access resources, employment, and information.  At least 20 organizations will share resources; Herman Miller, Shape Corp., Walgreens, GHSP, Spectrum Health, JR Automation, Mercy Health, and Creative Dining Services will promote employment opportunities; and presentations on special needs trusts, guardianship, and social security benefits will be offered.
