Gail introduced those who attended this year's work program, Feb. 15-23, 2019, in Honduras: Mark Kleist (Sholten Fant), Joel Blease (Redfive IT), Emily Kliingensmith (GHHS) and Sydney Peterson (North Muskegon HS). They joined many other volunteers with this year's projects.

 

Activities included helping a local Rotary Club build a playground for kids. Other tasks included helping construct homes for families with adobe bricks, assist with a water project constructing Pilas which were funded with donations raised by the GH club, assisting with installation of a new cement floor in a church, building latrines, installed bio filtered water filters in homes, testing of older water filters for e-coli and chloroform (of the 19 tested, some installed in 2010, one tested positive for e-coli and two tested positive for chloroform and assisted in building a wall around a soccer field.
