Gernot provided a presentation on the Rotary Foundation which is the driving force for the Rotary Club.  Monies collected through the foundation provide water filters in Honduras, support educational programs (i.e. Peace and Global scholarships, and Humanitarian grants), and help to eradicate Polio.  Foundation funds are considered district designated funds, 50% of which come back to our individual club to support local initiatives.
