Program
Today's Speaker and Topic was Grand Haven Main Street with Executive Director Chandi Pape

Grand Haven Main Street recently went through an accreditation and transformation strategy update. Also this past year, they celebrated the 50th anniversary of Michigan Main Street and the 20th anniversary of Grand Haven Main Street. Grand Haven Main Street has also received multiple grants due to the accreditation process and has supported numerous businesses.

Active living and community gathering are the two main goals Grand Haven Main Street is focused on over the next five years. Each project the organization takes on will focus on these two areas. The current project they are focused on is a district beautification project that will update flower planters, add sustainability, additional seating, and signage throughout the district. They currently received a $15,000 grant from the state and are hopeful to receive additional funds through matching grants. The total all in budget is expected to be around $190,000.
