Program
Laurie Bollenbach, Michigan Adventure

Laurie has been at Michigan Adventure for 21 years.

It originally opened in 1966 as Deer Par (50th Anniversary this year).  In 2001 it was purchased by Cedar Fair Entertainment.  Cedar Fair has 11 parks from California to the Atlantic.

Over 60 rides.  All tickets are for both parks - water and amusement park.  Current built environment only occupies about 33% of the property.  All Cedar Fair parks feature the Peanuts Characters.  They hire between 1,200 - 1,300 seasonal employees each year.  The park is open from the week before Memorial Day through the week after Labor Day.

Every ride is inspected by the State every year.  Staff inspects every ride every day before they open.
