COMMITTEE BREAKOUTS Next Generation - Dale Swihart was the only one in this breakout group, so he had a very productive dialogue during the 15 minute breakout. Membership and PR - Paul Brooks reported that he was advised he needs to train more on Rotary history and purpose. His team at Remax will help him work on a new brochure/plan for outreach. Paul volunteered to make the calls on potential members if people would provide him with leads. Administration - Chris Streng reported that he would reach out to Salvation Army to give an update on their activities during Covid. Also bring in our State and Federal representatives to come and give an update. Memorial Day Committee is working to come up with a program for this year's recognition. International - Kirsten Runschke reported that the committee is discussing re-imagining the Jump Fir Polio concept, maybe in 2022. EREY - Every Rotarian Every Year. All should be giving at least $100 each year. Can do $25 per quarterly statement to help members stay on track. Community Service - Coast Guard Festival Parade; we are looking for a chair to run the Gabagouche canoe in the parade. Pancake Breakfast could also be held during festival; Matt reminded the Club that we were possibly going to partner with the Eagles for the annual breakfast. Flag project and Highway Clean up will also continue. Also be looking for a Chair for the Jingle Bell Parade. |
