It is going to be an exciting summer at the YMCA! More "loosening up" is happening across the State, so summer ought to be a fantastic experience in Grand Haven.
Last year two big race events were virtual, but this year we are back in person.
Kick Off to Summer is this weekend May 29), and we have over 300 registrants so far. Can still register up to the day before the race. 5k at 8:30 a.m. and fun run/walk at 9:30 a.m.

Pat McGinnis announced that we need volunteers for flag duty next Monday - Memorial Day! 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Burger King.
A survey was recently sent to all members regarding in-person meetings, lunches, etc. For now, meetings will continue either on Zoom OR (weather permitting) in Central Park (bring a chair).
Every Rotarian, Every Year. Kristen Runschke urged all members to not only contribute $100 to Rotary for the Every Rotarian project, but to also consider a Paul Harris honor ($1,000 donation). This year, there are four local grants available. For a $250 donation to the Paul Harris Foundation, the local club will make up to four applicants and the District will match $500. Contact Kristen if you are interested.
