Program
PROGRAM -- Greg Oliver and Gary Speith, Agathon Solar of Coopersville.

Mr. Oliver spoke on his company Agathon and renewable energy. His company, https://agathonsolar.com/,  "is a Michigan based solar power company that provides a full turnkey solar solution. We service our state in the residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial markets."

There is a 30% investment tax credit for businesses to invest in solar energy. The percentage of tax credit will decline gradually over the next several years to 10%. Even on cloudy days modern solar panels will generate electricity, production is slightly reduced.

Excess electricity created via solar or other renewable form is sold back to power companies on the grid in Michigan. Payback on a typical home is about 7 years.
