MEETING CHANGES FOR MAY!!!
 
Friday, May 11 - Board Meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation
May 14 and May 21 - Meeting at Odd Side
 
Divine Event - This year's fundraiser will take place at the Grand Haven Farmer's Market on June 28 from 6 - 9pm. Paul McNergney has tickets which are priced at $40 in advance, $50 at the door.
 
Pancake Breakfast - If Rotary is going to host the pancake breakfast someone needs to grab Jay Greer SOON and tell him they will take charge of it. Otherwise, no breakfast.
 
Kirsten Runschke announced that we have an inbound student from Peru - plays soccer, speaks spanish and english, and we are seeking three host families.
 
Tuesday meeting - TOMORROW will held at 128 Columbus in Darren Riopelle's office
 
Habitat for Humanity Quilt Raffle - Annette Allen announced raffle tickets at $2. Quilt to be raffled off in July.
 
Jill Davies is seeking items for the DVine Event silent and live auction. Each member is enthusiastically askedto donate AT LEAST one item. Please see Jill with your donation.
 
Pat McGinnis announced he is spear-heading a Grand Haven area fund raising team for the June 1 & 2 Relay for Life cancer walk at Mona Shores High School. Come one, come all! See Pat or Annette Allen for more information.

Josh Troast, Executive Director, Health Pointe
 
Josh is Executive Director of Health Pointe which has been open since March 1. This is an evenly split, 50-50, joint venture between Spectrum Health and Holland Hospital. This was a $50 million investment. Population served by Health Pointe in the immediate lakeshore region, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, etc., is about 100,000. 
 
Health Pointe is a not-for-profit business. A PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) agreement was coordinated with Grand Haven Township since property taxes will not be paid.
