Hannah Olechnowicz and Matt Dirkse, Grand Haven Area Schools Foundation
 
Board decided last year that an Executive Director was in order to continue to grow their mission of promoting strong early childhood education in our school district. 
 
Mission is to Increase school readiness and ensure success from preschool - 4th grade.
 
Hall of Fame event.
Purpose is to recognize GHHS grads who have earned great success. This is their major source of fundraising. Began as an every two year event, but now is scheduled for every three years. Nominations are being accepted right now, deadline is May 17. Inductions will be on November 9 at the Spring Lake Country Club.
 
Announcements are made in July. Past nominees will be considered in future years.

Announcements - Get Involved!
March 18 is BRING A NEW MEMBER DAY - we are going to have a awesome presentation from the DEQ on the PFAS drinking water situation! Invite a potential new member.
 
Skoops is opening on Thursday!  Woot Woot! Thank you Kelly Larson for bringing us some summer in March!
 
Pat McGinnis announced that Backpack Blessings is collecting cans of chicken, barbeque sauce and personal sized bags of Fritos to send home with kids over Spring Break.
 
We need help for our exchange student over spring break March 29 - April 7.  Find Kirsten Runschke or Jay Greer for more details.
 
Morning meeting is held the  first and third Tuesdays of each month.   Meetings are  at 126 Columbus - Riopelle Building.
