We welcomed Jody Buttery from Love in Action Health Center today for our presentation. Love in Action's Health Center started in 2010 to assist with Health assistance. In May of 2015, they were able to add Dentistry into their portfolio of assistance to the community.
Their assistance helps those who are working yet struggling to make ends meet. Many of the people Love in Action assists is from the A.L.I.C.E population. With over 55,000 residents in the Tri-Cities area, there is no shortage of people in need of their services. Love in Action's goals are to act as stepping stones for underinsured or non-insured clients. They help connect those in need with primary care or dentistry care through local support and grant funding.
We heard from our possible Jeep Raffle beneficiaries. Paul Winter gave information regarding the Spring Lake Rowing Boat House. Cal Meeusen spoke about Habitat for Humanity. Troy Hauser-Brydon presented for for the Grand Haven High School Aquatics Scoreboard. And finally, Brook Bisonet presented for the Grand Haven High School Team Rooms upgrades. After the presentations, the club took a secret ballot vote.

Rotary Club helped cover 7 different kids for the Coat Drive this year. This year's students attend Rosy Mound Elementary School.
Next year's Rotary International is being held in Tiapei Taiwan, Gernot and Kirstin are looking to see if any members are interested in attending. Cost will only be $5000 in total!
Jingle Bell Parade is on December 6th. We're looking for safety volunteers to keep kids safe during the parade.
