Bottoms Up Topsoil - worked with Verplank Dock, five area municipalities and the US Army to set up dredge disposal site that produces rich top soil.

ELIZABETH:

Chamber contracts with five municipalities to provide economic development services.

Manufacturing is our primary economy in the Grand Haven Area. Elizabeth sets up retention visits with our local manufacturers.

Redevelopment Ready Communities. City of Grand Haven achieved certification, and now the Chamber is helping the Village and Township of Spring Lake to attain this certification.

Ferrysburg Economic Development Task Force - enaging leadership and business community in Ferryburg to build a plan to better develop opportunities in Ferrysburg.

JOY:

Chamber formed in 1899, the go to place for information. Recruited many of the industries that built Grand Haven and the surrounding area.

Chamber sponsors a very successful gift certificate program to boost the local economy - Dune Dollars SHOP LOCAL!

Business education partnership activities are the latest success stories.

Many many ribbon cutting ceremonies are organized by the Chamber (they have the only HUGE scissors in town!)

In 2021 the Chamber cleaned up the playground at the Salvation Army on Day of Caring.
