Kayak Launches have been placed at the South Channel and East Grand River Park. Funded by the Loutit Foundation. Thanks to Bill Krueger, Pat Fraker and Kennard Creason. Next year, individuals can store their kayak's for a fee of $100 at East End Park or South Channel.
Morning Club - The board has determined morning members should decide where to donate their happy dollars.

Water Filter Fundraiser - John Heritage reminded members on the fundraiser for this year's goal of raising $5,000 for water filters in Honduras. The club is asking for direct, tax deductible donations directly to the club, rather than through selling salad dressing, water bottles, etc. Planning for this fundraising program was brought forward by John Heritage, Brook Bissonet and Chris Mountford.
As of July 2016, there have been 784 water filters donated to the El Ayudante Rotary club in Honduras. HHOP will no longer be supporting water filter filters in Honduras so the club is looking to raise more money locally to continue our support. El Ayudante is now the sole importer of of the Hydraid Filter used to provide clean water to Honduran villages in need of clean drinking water.
Income Tax Assistance - Pat McGinniss announced that the City's Neighborhood Housing Department will be offering voluntary tax preparation for income eligible residents. Anyone interested in helping out contact Pat or Neighborhood Housing.
Honduran Work Trip - Gail Ringelberg announced the 2017 work trip to Honduras will leave on Feb. 24 and return 10 days later. Last year's trip totaled about $1,700. A deposit of $100 is needed to reserve your space.
Bell Ringers Needed - The Salvation Army is in need of bell ringers on Dec 10th from 11:00 - 4:00 at Walmart. Ringers are needed at both doors.

Scott Wagasky Scott works for Huntington Bank. In 2016, Huntington is taking on 150 Habitat Projects in recognition of their 150 years in business. Huntington is very active in community, with a major fundraiser called Pellatonia, a bike race in Ohio that has raised over $2 million for cancer research. Scott is in Trust and Wealth investment services. Scott is married with children and cats, dogs and horses.
