Coast Guard Parade - Volunteers are needed Saturday August 6 to walk beside the float and hand out candy. A few additional volunteers are requested to sit in the canoe, wave to the crowd, and replenish candy supplies to the walkers.
Pancake Breakfast - Gail Ringelberg was thee at 5:30 a.m., but Ellen Vonesch was there at 5:00 a.m. Lots of help from many members. Great compliments on all the food. Served 460 breakfasts yesterday. Looks like we cleared $1,500 this year!
Walk the Beat - August 20th. GH Rotary will have a booth in the Library parking lot and we are looking for a few members to share information about our club.
Coffee Report - We've been dumping out a lot of coffee out following meetings, so we are going to try a new coffee service

Club Members expressed sympathy to member Dave Swain on the passing of his father, Richard Swain. Visitation will be at Vanzantwick Bartels Kameraad Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17 and the funeral will be at St. John's at 12 noon at St. Johns Episcopal Church on Thursday, August 18.
