1000 3X5 Ft. Flags On Display November 10, 11 & 12

The public is invited to join the Plano East Rotary Club to “honor those who serve” in their presentation of the Flags of Honor. 1000 3X5 foot flags will be displayed Nov. 10, 11, and 12 at Plano Oak Point Park ½ mile north of Parker Road on East Spring Creek Pky.
 
The 348 KIA (Killed in Action) from Collin County will be memorialized along with recognition of veterans and first responders.
 
Each flag will bear a customized plaque with the name and picture of the honoree, along with their branch of service and dates of  service. The plaque will be given to the sponsor at the end of the event.  Sponsorships are available for individual flags and higher levels. Information at Planoflagsofhonor.org.
 
A one-hour program at 4:30 each day will feature local speakers and patriotic music to include The Star Spangled Banner and Dueling Taps. Friday is the Marine Birthday Celebration, followed by Veteran’s Day Celebration and Memorial Celebration the next two days.
