First, the successful vaccination event is underway, and many more people are eligible. Check Covid WWCC.com to see if you are eligible.
Second, the Vista Terrace Park project is moving forward. Our Club has a match program underway, and many of you have contributed. For every dollar you contribute, our Club will match it, up to a total Club match of $2,500.
Third is a Club tree planting event is slated for Fort Walla Walla Rotary picnic shelter 3/27 at 9am. Bring your gloves and tools.
Fourth is to check your Club invoice. The invoices were sent via email, but some people may have missed them.
And finally, some good news! The Club is working with the Marcus Whitman hotel on when we can meet in person!! Yay!! Hopefully sometime in April. Please let President Tom know if you are interested at fordguytom@gmail.com. We need to let the Marcus Whitman know a headcount estimate. The Club will still maintain a Zoom presence.
All Rotarians are welcome to attend Rotary Board of Directors Meetings via Zoom Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, from noon to 1 PM. It’s a good way to complete Blue Badge requirements or make up a missed meeting.
Our next meetings will be on Monday, April 5th and Monday, April 19th. Please let us know if you would like to attend and we will provide you the Zoom link for the meeting.
Sometimes we just have to miss a meeting. If you are working on perfect attendance or just want to get your Rotary fix each week, there is one location on the web that can help you. Access https://www.rotaryeclubone.org/ and participate in readings, videos, etc. Once complete you can submit a “request a makeup” verification and email it directly to our club Secretary for recording.
