Rotarians Duane Depping (right) and President John Cress (center) introduced Ivan Figueroa (left), $1,000 High School Scholarship recipient at our June 1, noon meeting. Ivan is a senior at Prescott High School where he is very active in both school and the community: tutoring students at Vista Hermosa, leading the Vista Hermosa youth group, a stellar member of Knowledge Bowl, FFA, and We-Day.

Ivan has taken advantage of the Running Start program at WWCC to prepare him for Washington State University this fall where he plans to pursue construction management.

There are some young people that just make you smile and believe they will be extraordinary caregivers for our world. This is the epitome of our seventh and final Rotary Scholarship recipient for 2017.
