Kari Isaacson (center), Executive Director of the Blue Mountain Community Foundation, oversees thirty-nine million dollars in assets and gives away over one and a half million dollars of other people’s money in grants and scholarships each year. Kari was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow at our December 1, noon meeting for giving one thousand dollars of her own to Rotary International. Kari was introduced by Larry Hoof, (left), and heartily congratulated by club president John Cress, (right).

Kari graduated from PLU in Tacoma, and she earned her law degree in Eugene at the University of Oregon.

She came to Walla Walla just three years ago with over 30 years of experience in the non-profit service sector with a wealth of experience in fundraising at the University of Arizona in Tucson and making grants for the Skillman Foundation in Detroit and the Northwest Area Foundation in St. Paul, MN.

Thank you and congratulations Kari!
