I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July. Did you know it has been 247 years since the Declaration of Independence ratified the 13 colonies from Great Britain establishing the United States of America? In Rotary International, July marks the beginning of a new Rotary year and the 2023-2024 theme is Create Hope in the World. I hope everyone will take time to look at the 5-Way Rotary Test, not only as something we recite at our two monthly meetings, but as a way to hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards and work together for the common good.
The Comstock Park Rotary Club is on a positive path for continued growth, and we all need to take action to bring in potential members while engaging the members we have! We will continue with our traditional BBQ’s, Salvation Army Bell ringing, Santa Claus Girls and Feeding America volunteering while we also look at new opportunities to improve our community and to make a difference in the world. I look forward to working with all of you to Create Hope in the World!
