Summer is here. Our first BBQ is finished, with the assistance of some wonderful volunteers. We inducted Devin Knight, our new York Creek representative.
So what is next? Our BBQ on July 11th will have a very special guest, our District Governor Dave Thomas. Also Jim White, our Assistant Governor, will be attending. They want to participate in whatever way they can. Please welcome them and introduce yourself.
It is important that everyone possible work some part of that day since a few may be on vacation. The BBQ is a major fund raiser for the club which is utilized for scholarships and life leadership training. I hope that all of you will spend as much time as possible working at the BBQ.
Frank and Barbara Vietze will be joining us for lunch on July 25. This will be our last opportunity to say "goodbye" since they are moving to Wooster, Mass. at the end of the month. They live at Boulder Creek Assisted Living and will need transportation to Rotary. Please let me know if any of you are available that day to transport them either coming or returning to their apartment. Cindy Witke, President

People of Action are effective problem-solvers.

Throughout the fight to end polio, we’ve shown what we can do when we draw on our collective strengths. We’ve created solutions that match the people they serve. We’ve evaluated the results to learn from our successes and setbacks.
This is a model we will use again and again in pursuit of our audacious goals: educating the world’s children, ensuring equitable access to water and sanitation, helping local economies grow sustainably, and so much more.
Let’s seek out new ways to translate our expertise into making a difference—in our communities and across the globe. Let’s prove that our impact on the world has only just begun.
