Merry Christmas!

In the recent District bulletin, I was reminded by District 6290 Foundation Chair, Gernot Runschke, of #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is this Tuesday, December 3rd. As Gernot said, "Its time to join thousands of generous people around the world in a global day of giving called #GivingTuesday". One way that you can give back is to the Annual Fund of the Rotary Foundation - you can do that easily at this link:

There are so many ways to make this world a better place. You can give back in time, talent, or treasure. This December, our Club has great plans of giving back. We are ringing bell with the Salvation Army, collecting blankets for the cold, and delivering gifts with the Santa Claus Girls to name a few ways we are contributing to making our community a better place. I challenge you to reflect on how you might be able to give your time, talent, or treasure this month - to better our Club, our Community, our Friendships, our World?

Comstock Park Rotarians and their Guests are invited to the 2019 Holiday Program:

WHEN: December 19, 2019 @ 12:00-1:30 PM

WHERE: Swann Inn Banquet Room

ENTERTAINMENT: Music by Aaron and Rosalie Baxter

LUNCH SELECTION: 6 oz Sizzler or Garlic Herb Tilapia

Lunch includes a baked potato, fresh green beans and roll.

Dessert will be provided by the Admin Committee.

DONATION REQUEST: Please bring blankets that Officer Jose can give to those in need this winter.

Santa Claus Girls

The Santa Claus Girls are a 100+ year organization that purchases and distributes gifts to children all over Kent County that may otherwise be without gifts. The CP Rotary has been helping deliver these gifts for several years.

Help is needed for Santa Claus Girls Christmas delivery and preparation.

**Friday, December 13th at 10:30am, sort packages. 4-5 individuals are needed at Alpine Township Hall

**Saturday, December 14th at 9am, deliver packages. Many people are needed for this project! We need at least 10 cars to deliver packages. This is a perfect opportunity for families. Bring your kids and let them experience what it is like to give back! It only takes about 1 hour.

Upcoming Elections

Please note that in December we will be electing a Board-Elect for 2020- 2021 (July-June). Five people serve on the Board of Directors each year.

The Secretary and Treasurer are currently appointed. A Nominations committee will be announced shortly.
