Your ideas are very important and we would like to hear from you. Contact Sharon (Programs) & Dan (Projects). Also invite a potential member to lunch on us. Help us build membership.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Are you participating on a committee? We have five committees:
Projects, Rotary Foundation, Public Awareness, Membership and Club Service. Your help is needed on one of these committees.
Each committee is expected to report to the club at the Club Assembly.
That helps us all to be aware of how another committee can contribute to that effort. For example: A project needs planning, publicity & funding.
The Projects committee may start the "ball rolling" but they need your help to make it a success. Publicity encourages donations and awareness of what we seek to accomplish and how it benefits the community. New
potential members may become interested in what we do. Service is what vitalizes our club and relationships. When you work with someone on an effort you get to know them better. This builds not only your relationship but the club's with the entire area. This ties in with Membership building and Club Service.
The Rotary Foundation offers grant opportunities to assist us in doing large projects and even projects working with other clubs around the world. Both the District and the RI Foundation contribute additional funding for qualifying projects. If you have experience writing grants, please contact our President.
