President Lynn hosted our SW Rotary annual Auction Saturday night April 13th. A very fun night. Lots of money raised. A large turnout. Based on the Paris Summer 2024 Olympic Games the event started with the lighting of our Olympic torch. Followed by an evening of fun and fundraising. Great night! Very successful!

RI Chairman Ryan Beckett introduces nine new Paul Harris awards to Club members. In many cases these are Paul Harris multiple awards too. Bruce Willis earned his PH+4 award to top the group! Our support of the Rotary Foundation is a priority to our Club! And here is the proof! Way to go Rotarians!
Congratulations Past President Dirk Bernd! He led the effort to light up city skate parks across Yakima. Partnering with the City and Yakima's two other Rotary Clubs! He thanked all those who helped with this amazing contribution to our town! Well done!
President Dirk handed over a bottle of wine to incoming President Lynn Harlington Tuesday June 27th at the Seasons. President Dirk had a VERY good
year as Club President, breaking membership records and hosting our annual auction with record breaking results. Now he passes the torch to Lynn, our sixth female President. We are excited at the prospect of the many great things ahead for SW Rotary!
President Dirk Bernd presents a check for $25,000 to the Memorial Foundation in support of CHAMPS Campaign, an investment in kids who receive specialized care thru the Children's Village. We are proud to support such a worthy program in our community!
On August 2nd Downtown Yakima broke ground for the new Rotary Marketplace that will be the new home of the Yakima Farmers Market. SW Rotary donated $150K in support of this great local project. Past Presidents Taylor Stormo and Josh Logsdon played key roles in funding this generous donation. Yakima will be a better place with this new impressive addition.
