Grant Woodhams – Presented Club President Hugh Lavery with a clock from Geraldton Universities Centre. The clock was made by Les Hollomby, the son of the late Joe Hollomby. We as RCGG give generously to the Hollomby Foundation which provides scholarships to GUC students.

Hugh Lavery - We have a good line up of future speakers. Please talk with Laurie Dines if you have someone in mind. A Chapman Valley Country Music Festival guest speaker is planned for early September.
Bob Symington – Radio Auction update. Can someone contact Ocean Centre Hotel? (Grant Woodhams volunteers). Can someone contact Geraldton Fishermen's Co-Op (Bob Urquhart volunteers).
Most likely have another Pre-Call session in late August. Contact Jo Clarke, Russell McKinnon or Bob Symington for specific information. Bob has the pledge forms. We need another $25,000 to reach our target. Di Gilleland continues to work tirelessly for the Radio Auction even in absentia! Go Di! :-)

Don Rolston- winding up East Victoria District Nurses Association.
Ian Taylor – seeing his granddaughter perform on stage.
Jim Dillon – his daughter took two lambs to Mullewa Muster in a horsefloat – Crockpot and Stew.
Laurie Dines – got tickets to the Dockers to watch them lose.
Bob Symington – naught.
Terry Stewart – Has moved from a house in Bluff Point to Acacia Village in town.
Rob Mosel – Our club members' fitness at attending meetings.
Russ McKinnon – Has watched seventy four water polo matches across this year's Olympics.
Bob Urquhart – His visitors from Tasmania Wendy and Chris.

Sofia Underland from Norway, has three host parents in place:

Sofia is being hosted by the Foster Family (Kiera and Josh). Jo Clarke is the Student Counsellor/Mentor.
