This year, Sunrise Rotary made a positive difference in 126 children’s lives, through our Operation Santa event. Through the efforts of all Sunrise Rotarians selling Rotary Raffle tickets last summer, we were able to allocate $9,000 to buying gifts and supplies for this one night event. The children, who are served by Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families, were given gifts, given an opportunity to visit with Santa, and decorated cookies while they listened to live music performed by our own Rotary singers.
