How old do you have to be before the world pays attention to you?

Michael Sheldrick at the age of 28 leads the Global Citizen’s global advocacy work from its New York office. In this role, Michael coordinates Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign which has helped mobilize more than $800 million in support of polio eradication efforts. These efforts included his work on the 2011 End Polio Now campaign that saw Commonwealth leaders announce $118 million in contributions to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative at the 2011 Perth Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

In his current role Michael, works closely with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UNICEF, WHO, and the World Bank while also serving as Global Citizen's Main Representative to the United Nations Michael oversees the organisation's outreach to government representatives around the world.
