Eyn Hansford and Clayton Banry of YAAS! (Young Adult Association of San Juan) gave a wonderful presentation about their activities. Wow! Social life: prom, bowling, theater outings, move nights, Camp Horizon, weekly meetings. Community Advocacy: 4th of July, Family Fun Night, Holiday Card Making, San Juan County Fair, caroling at Village at the Harbor. Life Skills: healthy relationships, cooking skills, social & emotional skills, money management, leadership.
GREAT NEWS: Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center was gifted a new building (formerly Paideia School) and YAAS! will have a new home. They'll have weekly in person meetings, beach accessibility project, purchase a Life-Skill curriculum, fundraising event - April 17th.
