District 5050 Rotarians,

 
There are several upcoming Rotary District 5050 trainings and events that District Leadership would like you to be aware of.  Please see below and visit the District 5050 website for more information.

February 26, 2011- District Committee Chair Training-   Rotarians who hold current and future Committee Chair positions are strongly encouraged to attend.  The training will take place in Bellingham at the Bellwether Hotel from 9:00a-3:00p and there is no charge. March 12, 2011- Rotary Leadership Institute- Great chance to meet Rotarian from other clubs and to exchange ideas on all aspects of Rotary.  Informed Rotarians make for committed Rotarians.  Session on Rotary and Leadership and opportunities for fellowship.  RLI takes place in Mt Vernon from 8a-3p and the cost is $85 and includes breakfast, lunch, and necessary materials.  To register and pay click HERE. 

March 26, 2011 Literacy Seminar-  & nbsp;Ideas for literacy projects like the District 5050 Mobile Library bus in Guatemala, the Dolly Parton Library, and ways to partner with area schools/and or government projects will be shared as well as roundtable discussions of current club projects.  Seminar to take place in Bellingham at Hampton Inn Fox Hall from 8:00a to 3:00p and the cost is$35 includes Continental Breakfast and Lunch. April 9, 2011 District Assembly- A interactive and informative training for District and Club Leaders and Rotarians who want to learn more about Rotary.  Assembly to take place in Surrey BC from 9:00a-3:00p and the cost is$40 ad includes breakfast and lunch.  To register and pay click HERE.

May 5-8, 2011 Rotary District 5050 Conference- Save The Date!  Conference will take place at Harrison Hot Springs, BC.  See more information HERE.
